WHAT IS MICROBID?
Microbid is a crowd-powered, member-only network that helps people
turn spare, pocket change into millions (soon
to be billions) of dollars in increased buying power.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Place 1 or more bids on
existing Auctions
When an Auction reaches its "Bids Goal" (ie. Reserve), the Bidder with
the most bids wins - simple.
And, then most Auctions automatically reset and start again (and again) - producing new winners each time - especially for items, goods, products and services that have good availability.
And, of course - every single
bid placed by every member is automatically
entered to win instant gold coins rewards - which can be used to purchase
Auction items, goods, products or services - or to simply cash out.

2. Create & Post your own Auctions.
Microbid was designed to turn pretty much anything (legal) into an
instant, winnable, $1 BuyNow Auction.
So, you could post something as simple as an idea - like a Fantasy Trip for example and if you simply enter an estimated value, then it becomes a winnable Auction.
Every Auction over $50 in value is considered a "crowd" Auction, which means the bids of similarly valued Auctions are grouped together to help reach bid goals (ie reserves) faster - and create winners faster.
We call these Auction "Buckets".

Bidpower
Bidpower basically looks at a variety of your actions as a Microbid Member -
from bidding activity and volume, to frequency, to the pricing levels of
Auctions you bid on, referral activity, mere visits/browsing, etc.
The Microbid Instant Rewards algorithm then looks at that to select various Bidders to receive instant rewards (ie. digital gold coins) around the clock - even before Auctions end. It’s sort of our thank you, for supporting Auctions - and part of what makes them "crowd-powered" Auctions.
Bidpower also helps support our mission of increasing members’s "buying power" in the real world - because you can actually use gold coins to purchase the same Auction items, goods, products and services outright - or to cash out.

prevent members who’ve recently won (or received a reward, or benefit)
from immediately winning (or being approved) again until their "Cooling"
period of 1 week (or less*) expires.
However, recent winners can still win smaller "Instant Daily Rewards" and Advances while in the cooling period.
* Note: Cooling period can be shorter than 1 week depending on overall bidding activity by all members at the time.
