HOW IT WORKS
Members place a bid or bids on the Auction(s) they’re interested
in and then when the Auction reaches its "Reserve" Goal (ie an amount
of bids usually equal to 1% of the Auction Value) a winning Bidder
is selected based on Bidpower and a few other factors that help
Microbid keep Auctions fair for all. (see below for more).
Members can currently place one bid at a time, but can bid as many times as they like. Placing multiple bids on a specific Auction doesn’t directly allow or enable you to have the winning bid, but it is combined with your Bidpower, which can improve the strength of your bid and your likelihood of having the winning bid. And, if you don’t win, then your strengthened Bidpower will simply put you in a much better position to have the strongest bid in subsequent Auctions you bid on.
